
We had this motorhome booked in with us as its MOT was due to run out during a charity walk to raise funds and awareness for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity and the Women’s Royal Naval Service Benevolent Trust.
To mark her close involvement with WRNS100, and her retirement from the Royal Naval Reserve, Commander Jane Allen decided to undertake a solo anti-clockwise charity walk around the coastline of mainland Britain. She estimates it will take over a year and cover approximately 5,500 miles. Jane started from Admiral Nelson’s flagship, HMS Victory, in Portsmouth on 21 October 2017, and plans to finish there in the first quarter of 2019 – hencethe title Victory Walk.
