We had a new customer last week that asked us to price having a new clutch fitted to there Citroen Picasso. This customer had never used us before and was recommend to call us by a friend. We did a full written estimate as we always do on any job. We then called the customer and gave them our estimate, the customers reply was ” I have a friend who does repairs on the side and he has given me a price that is £100 less than yours” I explained that the £100 saving is the VAT amount and we can not do anything about that, but what we can guarantee is that we offer a national warranty on all parts fitted by us. If you was to drive your car to London and your clutch failed, you simply call the Service Sure helpline who would send a recovery vehicle and take your car to the nearest Service Sure Centre. Your car would be repaired without any cost to the customer.
To be part of the Service Sure Auto Centres we had to under go some very strict guidelines. We have to be a member of the Motorcodes, we then have to be inspected my the RAC and our technicians have to be ATA which is “Automotive Technician Accreditation is a national voluntary scheme which tests the current competence of individuals working in the retail motor industry, who are committed to an ethical code of conduct”
We also send our staff on regular training courses with the best names in the industry, these include: Bosch Diagnostics, Delphi, LUK Clutches, Brembo and this is just a few of them.
